I <3 folk singers
I'm off to the Old Town School of Folk Music to watch some potentially ridiculous performances, but in the meantime - well, I've been trying to embed the video of Mark DeRosa literally leaping into Ryan Theriot's arms after scoring the game-winning run yesterday, but it's eluding me. Anyway, it's on the front page of cubs.com and will hopefully be here when I get home later, because it is full of delight.

Also, who did you see at Old Town? I saw Kelly Willis and Chip Taylor there a few years ago.

Well, as it turned out, the event we wanted to go to was super-crowded and giving my dad, who hates crowds, hives just from looking at all the people. So we ended up just cruising around Andersonville, then stalking our old house in Rogers Park and visiting the nature center/forest preserve-type place there. Since it involved cinnamon rolls at Ann Sather, I was cool with this plan.
